Companion Puppy Purchase Agreement
This agreement is made and entered into this ___day of __________,
20___by and between Tammy Marsh (hereafter “Seller”), and
_________________(hereafter “Buyer”), for the purpose of setting forth
the terms and conditions of the purchase of a purebred American
StaffordshireTerrier puppy from the
litter whelped on ___________out of_________________________
and _________________________________. For good and valuable
consideration, the Seller agrees to sell and the Buyer agrees to buy one
___ male ___ female puppy from the litter described above,
AKC Registration # ________________, ubject to the following:
• Seller warrants that the above described puppy is a purebred American
Staffordshire Terrier, and may be registered with the AKC and that
registration papers ____have ____have not been provided to the Buyer.
• Seller warrants the above described puppy is in good health at the time
Buyer assumes ownership. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined
by a icensed Veterinarian within two (2) working days of receipt of puppy.
• If, as a result of examination, the Veterinarian determines that the puppy
is not in good health, the Buyer may elect to return the puppy. Buyer shall,
within ten (10) days after the date of the signing of this contract, send to
the Seller by certified mail, a written Veterinarian’s certificate, stating that
the puppy was in ill health when examined.
• Upon receipt by Seller of certificate, the Buyer shall be obligated to return
the puppy to Seller at Buyer’s expense.
• Upon receipt of the puppy, the Seller shall be obligated to refund all
moneys received from the Buyer toward the purchase of the puppy and
further performance under the contract shall be null and void.
• All actions taken to return the puppy shall be done with the best interest
of the puppy in mind, including temperature at time of shipment, non-stop
flights, etc.
• Ownership of the puppy will be transferred to the Buyer for the sale price
of $_____________. Seller warrants that every reasonable effort has been
made to assure that the sire and dam of above described puppy, are of
sound temperament and in good health.
• Buyer agrees that this animal will not be used for breeding purposes until
at least twenty four (24) months of age, of sound temperament, in good
health and free of communicable and hereditary diseases.
• If delivery is requested by the Buyer, it shall be by air freight to the
designated location. Buyer is solely responsible for all cost of crate,
insurance during shipment and cost of air freight service charges.
• The above described puppy shall carry the Dapple Hills Amstaff name.
• Buyer agrees the he/she is not acting as an agent in the purchase of this
puppy.
• Buyer will notify the Seller before taking any such action so that the
puppy may at the Seller’s option, be repurchased by the Seller, at the
original purchase price listed above. Upon notification, the Seller shall
have fifteen (15) working days to exercise said repurchase option.
Exercise of option shall be notice in writing sent to Buyer.
• Buyer agrees that the puppy will have as it’s permanent residence, the
home of the Buyer, have access to a fenced area, not be chained or
tethered and will be provided with proper housing, diet and exercise.
Buyer agrees to provide adequate veterinary care, including but not
limited to annual checkups and heartworm tests, to keep all
immunizations current, according to the American Veterinary
Medical Association guidelines, and properly administer
heartworm preventative.
• Buyer agrees that at least one (1) basic obedience course will be
completed within six (6) months of the purchase of the above described
puppy.

2. Violation of the terms of this contract that could negatively impact
this puppy’s health, safety or well being shall result in Buyer being
required to return the puppy to the Seller within five (5) days of receipt of
notice from Seller. Buyer will be responsible for the cost of the puppy’s
transportation back to Seller. Seller is under no obligation to refund any
moneys to Buyer. If the above terms are not met, an amount of $5,000.00
(Five Thousand Dollars) shall be considered settlement of the above
contract.
3. Should Buyer violate this agreement, he/she will be responsible for all
legal cost incurred by Seller in enforcing this agreement.
This agreement is made and signed by both parties to insure the well
being and protection of this puppy. If any part of this Agreement is
breached by the Buyer, the Seller is released from any obligations under
this Agreement.
